Ending 2024 with a new quarterly harvest record of 1,729 tonnes, Salmon Evolution has led its field, producing one-third of the total global land-based salmon.

Salmon Evolution's strong Q4 business performance contributed to raising the total annual harvest to 4,891 tonnes - an increase of 1,874 tonnes compared to the same period last year and accounted for 30 percent of the total land-based salmon production in 2024. This improved performance came with an EBITDA of NOK 9 per kg.

Salmon Evolution's strong year-end business performance was supported by stable operations at the Indre Harøy and Dale facilities, with a standing biomass of approximately 2,000 tonnes, setting the stage for continued growth in 2025.
Schaug-Pettersen stated: "We are entering 2025 with a fully stocked farm and positive trends, providing strong momentum for future growth."
Alongside this strong position for Salmon Evolution, the company reported that the Phase 2 expansion project at Indre Harøy continues to progress strongly, with the project on track for the first smolt release in the first quarter of 2026.
Schaug-Pettersen concluded: "We are on schedule and budget and are very pleased with the progress at the construction site. With Phase 2 up and running, we will have an operational strength that few companies in the industry can match."
