Light affects the fish's ability to feed and grow, as well as its health. Light is also an important factor in reducing sexual maturation and maintaining fish quality.
• Daylight creates photosynthesis in algae-rich water, and algae produce oxygen essential for fish. When it gets dark, this photosynthesis process stops, and oxygen is not produced.
• By adding bio-light, algae will produce oxygen, fish will eat more and grow faster. Mortality rates will decrease, and production and quality will improve.
